My Life- final project

3a.  Im used Magic by B.O.B, Do You Remember by Jay Sean, You've Got Me by Colbie Caillat, and Better Days by the Goo Goo Dolls.
3b.  I chose them because I like all of the songs, and I thought that they fit well in my movie.
4a. Some search terms I used were Average Cost of bread in 95'? Fashion in 95'? For the pictures I typed in the name of the song and then I found the pictures.  Or for the actors and actresses, I typed in their names and found them.
4b. I most often use google.
4c. All of my websites were pretty much reliable.
5.  I used keynote and iMovie to complete this project. I also used garageband to do my music.  I downloaded a movie off of my iphoto to put into my movie.
6. I was good at putting everything together and collaborating my ideas.  Putting my transitions and slides in from keynote went very well for me.
7.  What was difficult for me, was trying to put in transitions on my separate slides.  It did not really work out good for me. Also, remembering when to duplicate my slides.
8a. I used some still slides, but not on most of my slides.
8b. I duplicated most of my pictures and words so they would just pop up and it wouldn't be boring for people who would be watching my movie.
8c. Yes, I used a consistent theme throughout my movie.
8d. I didn't want to make my movie to confusing and hard to follow and since I already had a pattern going, I didn't want change it.
9. I used a video of Dolly and I.  It was of a movie we made one day in tech class.
10. This could be adapted in anything.  I could do this for any of the classes I am taking right now. I also could use this for any family movies or slideshow projects.
11.  I cited all of the sources I used, and did not just copy the URL.  I said who it was published by and everything.
12. Yes, I would love to do another project like this. It was really fun.  I enjoyed finding pictures and doing my project my way.

1a.  I had Doo Wop Music.
1b. I choose that genre because I have never really heard any Doo Wop music, so I wanted to see what it was like.
2.  I went on the internet and searched Doo Wop music.  For my information I searched things like Doo Wop history, and the origins of Doo Wop.
3. I first used keynote to make my informational slides and then I exported them into iMovie.  I also used a transition on iMovie called Scrapbook.  For my music I found my songs on iTunes and then downloaded them through Zamzar.  I then used garageband to edit my music.
4. I was good at editing all of my music and and making my slides.
5. It was difficult to import my movie clip.  I had trouble with that.
6. I used still slides.  I thought it would be easier for people to read
7. This could be used for any of my other classes or any other projects.
8. I transformed my pictures and my music into my slides and it worked really well.  I cited everything for this project.
9. I really liked this project. It was fun to listen to the music and put it to my slides.  It was an enjoyable project.

Storyboard review

Amanda, Mackenzie, and I chose Men and Women's basketball.  We
chose this because I do basketball we figured it was a good choice, and we thought we would be able to show why incoming freshman should do basketball.  Some images we included were a picture of basketballs,
the coaches, Notre Dame students, and Notre Dame's logo. We chose them because we thought they were a good way to show how basketball is fun and exciting. Everyone in my group contributed and participated. They found quotes and pictures and I did the powerpoint.  There quotes and pictures made it easier to do the powerpoint. The storyboard is going to make making the movie a lot easier.  It is gonna flow smoothly and be easy to put all of our ideas into the movie.

1. Which search terms did you use to find images (for the letters of your name and the images that describe you) and why?

2. What skills did you use/learn in this project?
I learned how to make a slideshow in iPhoto and how to edit my pictures.
3. Describe how you might use these skills and apply them to a real-world situation.
I might use these skills when i get older, if I need to do a slideshow for a business I'm in or for college.
4. This was a more creative project than our first 2. Did you prefer it or the more cut and dry assignments in Word and Excel?
I preferred this project more. It was more fun finding pictures of me and my friends and what I like to do.  This project was a lot more fun.
